SUMMARYChildren have a future. Building Futures are passionate about contributing to the lives of underprivileged children in rural areas by improving the quality of learning in Zambia's community schools and increasing the number of children attending education. This has been done through the construction or refurbishment of community schools throughout Zambia.
Our projects are focused on creating academic opportunities for children not currently attending education or having to undergo difficulty in doing so e.g. walking several miles in order to attend class at the nearest available school. We therefore build new schools with the community, with support from various partners, volunteers and the Building Futures team. We believe that we must invest in our children's education and mental capacities to build a better future for everyone. Get involved today and participate in creating a special future for a child. |
GREG BAKER SCHOOLGreg Baker School (above) is one of the successful projects of Building Futures located about 23 miles away from the capital city of Zambia; in Katuba district, Shabwafwa village. The school was completed mid 2017, which includes grades 1 - 7 and has since increased in the number of children from the initial 46 before the project commenced to over 250 children after completion of the project.
THE XPERIENCE TRIPSLook out for the Building Futures trips every month tagged the Xperience. The event is a universal opportunity for all to do something that will just build up your soul. Come with us and experience reality, to have an opportunity to share your burning love with the children in various communities.
At the Xperience tour, volunteers tag along to help at project sites and to connect with the kids and inspire them for their future and Xperience a few of what children go through. Call us to donate clothes, footwear, books, toys, school bags, special gifts, cards, money, building materials, tools, machinery, electronics, et cetera. |
